DPM Sar Kheng Tests Positive for Covid

PHNOM PENH: On the morning of May 12, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sar Kheng announced that he tested positive for Covid-19. He said that he will still able to continue his duties from home.

DPM Sar Kheng wrote, "I would like to inform my compatriots that after a little abnormal health, I tested positive for Covid-19. I advise family and neighbours to get tested and to monitor their health as well.”

In accordance with guideline, Sar Kheng isolated himself from his family and exercised. He will continue to work from a separate room in his house. He apologized for any cancellations and for his absence from various work programs during this time, saying, “I will update my compatriots on my health according to health and safety measures.”
